We always go at least once a year. It is a 2 hour drive for us. The kids have a fantastic time. The rides are awesome, the park is clean and the lifeguards are friendly. It is really a good value.

Wow!!! This water park was the best water park I have ever been at!! It is very clean, and is beautiful. I love that is has something for all ages! My daughter can't swim, yet she went on all of the rides and had a blast! The mini-golf and go-carts were wonderful. It even had a great price.

If you want to go somewhere, The Lost Island is the place to be!!

"I live 20 miles south of Dubuque and love your waterpark. This week will be the 3rd year we have visited Lost Island. The first year I brought 4 kids with me, they loved it so much and told all their friends. Last year 4 Moms in 4 Vans Brought 26 kids with us. This week we have 7 Vans, 9 Moms and 42 kids ranging in ages 5 - 14. It has become an annual event for us that keeps growing.

The kids don't want to go anywhere else, as soon as School is out they ask when are we going to Lost Island. Your park is clean and friendly, it has something for every age, and it is the perfect size not to get lost. Plus you have Dippin Dots!

We can't wait to ride on the new Molokini Crater."

"Hi, I am 20 years old from Fremont, Nebraska. Last summer my girlfriend, her family, and I were looking for a great water park to visit for a small summer vacation. I came across your website and it seemed like so much fun, we decided to actually leave the following morning. We drove all the way from Fremont, Nebraska to get there by 10:30 A.M. and made it by 10:00. Your directions got us there perfectly. We arrived and had a great time. It really was a blast. At the end of the day, we realized the park was going to be closing soon so we had to get ready to go. As we were walking to our car in your parking lot, we had all realized that our "small vacation" was not a small vacation at all. But, in fact it was one of the biggest and best vacations we had ever been on in our entire lives. Seriously thank you for one of the most fun vacations my family and I have ever been on. We will be back this June. We can't wait!!!"

"I remeber last summer when my family and our family friends went to the Lost Island. It was so much fun! We absolutely loved it! My friends and I went on the big water slides they were long and exciting. The water was realy clean and beautiful. The wave pool had waves big enough to have lots of fun in but not too big to engulf you! The life guards were really nice and alert! The service was awesome! The thing that I enjoyed the most would probably be the Tangerine Tempest although we call it the Toilet Bowl! We were glad we went there instead of to Wisconsin Dells. The price is awesome too! I can't wait till next summer!"

"For several summers now, our family and friends have enjoyed an island paradise just a short drive away.

The Lost Island Adventure Park, off Hwy. 20 and Hwy. 218, is such a great asset to our community. The water park is well designed, well supervised and exceptionally clean. There is something for everyone to do, from the little ones, to the timid and the brave. The lifeguards are outstandingly serious about their duties; you know your loved ones will be safe. The staff is welcoming and helpful. There is also a mini-golf, go-cart, pool table and arcade nearby!

We have brought many visiting family and friends to this water park and everybody was always impressed. We always had so much fun, go home tanned and tired with fond memories. We thank the owners for providing this great water park just a short drive away. If only the sun would be out every day this summer!"

"We visited the water park this afternoon for the first time as a group outing with a daycare. While my daughter and I had 'heard' there was a "new" waterpark in Waterloo, I have to tell you - we were completely awestruck!! Not only is the park exceptionally clean and well designed - the different amount of activities and quantity/variety of water slides most assuredly rivals the Wisconsin Dells, and it's much closer to home! The number of staff on lifeguard duty was impressive, as well. Never once did I ever fear my daughter was not safe at all times.

You are to be congratulated on your achievement in providing a fun, safe, and clean family excursion opportunity for Eastern Iowa!! May I suggest you market more heavily in the Cedar Rapids metro area to gain awareness - I consider Lost Island the best found "secret" of our summer."

"I had not been to the Lost Island before yesterday...my wife and kids love to go and have on many occasions. I had a blast!!! I rode every ride and there wasn't one that I didn't enjoy, as a matter of fact, I went down the drop slide 4 times! That one, I am sure that I enjoyed as much as my kids did watching me. I had so much fun we are planning another day before the kids go back to school. We had a total of 8 kids with us yesterday and they were all smiling all day. The place is awesome!"

"We had a great time over the weekend at the park! It was really clean, reasonable food prices, and my whole family, ages ranging from 4 - 60, had a great time on the rides!"

"Lost Island was a great addition to the area. It attracts so many new people from all over and the staff really knows how to keep the place safe. I definitely love the Tsunami Bay to just relax in and get a nice tan. The wave pool is also great because you see so many people having so much fun in it. It's always nice to see the nice smiles on thier faces for something so neat in their neighborhood or near by them. Keep it up because it will definitely be a place to remember!"

"My two young nephews and I drove up yesterday for the afternoon!! It was such great fun!! We especially enjoyed the Calypso Cascade, Kiwi Koaster, Tahiti Treehouse, Kailahi River, and Tsunami Bay. Also, the staff was so friendly and safety-minded!!

The look and feel of the park transports your mind to a place outside of Iowa...it's great when you're running low on vacation days, but still need the time away!!

"Just wanted you to know how impressed my husband and I were when we visited the Lost Island yesterday. Your staff is to be commended...so helpful, courteous, polite, and all had smiles on their faces. My family really enjoyed the new rides. The "toilet bowl" ride and the big "family size" tube ride are the best! However, all of the slides, everything is lots of fun. We had planned on visiting some waterparks in Wisconsin Dells this summer, but not any more. We thought, why should we when the Lost Island has so much to offer and is so close to home?! (we are from Marion).

Keep up the great work...we'll definitely be back again this summer!"

"Because of your generosity, we were able to treat 16 youth to an outstanding experience as an unanticipated reward for a community service program this summer. Thanks to you, we were able to expand the number of youth treated. I might add, the members of the club who acted as chaperones were very impressed with the park and speaking for myself, the Kailahi River and Tsunamie Bay were awesome!"

"My family of five recently visited your waterpark. We arrived about noon and stayed until about 4:30pm. We had a wonderful time. It was my husband's first visit and our second. We had lunch, rode the water slides - I even braved the Lost Soul Falls, and relaxed in the Kailahi River. What a great time!

Thank you for providing a great family place with safe, clean areas and lots of polite staff. We had a not so great experience at a well known Vermont family resort this summer and were happy to find a close by (we are from Marion) clean, friendly place for our family and friends to visit. My scout troop visited last year and we will definitely return with all of my three troops again!"
