On 9/10/22 Amusement Today announced their top pick for BEST NEW FAMILY ATTRACTION of 2022 in San Antonio, Texas.
Ranked with top international attractions such as runner ups from Epcot, Six Flags Over Texas, Gardaland, and Futurescope, Lost Island Themepark in Waterloo, Iowa was awarded the coveted Golden Ticket Award for "Best New Family Attraction of 2022" by Amusement Today.
Opened just this June, Lost Island Themepark has been recognized among industry giants with their iconic Dark Ride, VOLKANU: Quest For The Golden Idol. Gary and Becky Bertch recently accepted the award representing the Bertch Family and staff in San Antonio.
