  • When is Lost Island Waterpark open? 

    Lost Island Waterpark is open daily, June through August. Lost Island Adventure Golf & Go-Karts opens for weekends in May, daily June through August, and weekends in September. Click here to see the current hours of operation and events. 

    If it rains, does Lost Island Waterpark close?

    Lost Island stays open in the rain! For everyone's safety, in the event of lightning, all pools and slides must be cleared for 30 minutes after the last lightning is seen. 

    No cash refunds will be given for inclement weather. 

    Does Lost Island Waterpark have any COVID capacity restrictions? 

    Lost Island Waterpark is operating at our normal capacity! As we follow CDC guidelines, guests who are vaccinated do not need to wear masks. Those guests who are not vaccinated are encouraged to wear masks when waiting in lines, such as entry lines or cafe lines. 

    We will return to separate lines at the gate: one for guests needing to purchase tickets, one for guests who already have tickets (including season passes), and an exit lane. We will also be bag checking again. Please remember all glass and outside food & beverages need to remain outside of the park for allergy and safety reasons. 

    When is the best time to visit Lost Island?

    Early June is always a great time to visit Lost Island as we usually have lighter crowds at the beginning of the season. We recommend arriving early and purchasing your ticket online so you can skip the ticket booth line.

  • How much are tickets?

    Lost Island Waterpark online ticket prices vary depending on the time of season and are only valid for the selected date. Tickets can be purchased online by midnight the day before your visit.

    Admission prices do not change based on time - the rates remain the same all day.

    What is included with my admission ticket?

    Your waterpark admission includes all rides and water attractions at Lost Island.

    Adventure golf admission is valid for one round of 18-holes. A driver ticket is valid for one race on Monaleo Speedway.

    For one admission to the waterpark, golf, and go-karts, Bundle passes are available at the gate.

    What coupons & discounts are available?

    How much is parking?

    Parking is FREE!

    Do I have to buy a ticket if I'm not getting in the water?

    Lost Island offers a visitor pass for $12 for guests who are entering the park but will not be getting in any water. Available with purchase of regular admission (visitor pass cannot be purchased with a child's admission).

    Can I leave and re-enter the park?

    Guests are welcome to leave the park and re-enter. Guests can stop at the front gate to receive a hand stamp to re-enter. 

    How old do my children have to be to be dropped off?

    All guests 13 years old and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult while visiting the park.

    Can unused tickets or season passes be refunded?

    All sales are final. 
    This refund policy pertains to items purchased directly from Lost Island. If you purchased your tickets or season pass through a 3rd party, please contact them directly for their refund policy. 

    How much are tube rentals?

    Tubes are free and located in tube corrals near each slide. Please do not drag tubes around the park. Clear tubes must be used in the Wave Pool for the safety of guests. Tubes are required when in the Lazy River.

  • Are "family" passes available?

    All tickets and season passes to Lost Island are sold on an individual basis.

    I lost my season pass. Can I get it replaced?

    Yes, a new pass can be printed for $5 at Guest Services.

    Can I add money to my season pass?

    Season Pass holders can load their cards with cash at anytime during the season to use throughout the park. Loaded funds are non-transferable or refundable. 

    What is the Season Pass Social Contract?

    Lost Island requires all season pass holders to have a current signed waiver in order to be admitted. 

    How old do my children have to be to be dropped off?

  • Do you offer any discounts for large groups?

    Yes! If you have a large group coming to the park (20 or more people), Lost Island offers discounts on admission, pavilion rentals, and catered meals. Complete a Group Event Request form or call to speak with a Group Sales representative at (319) 455-6702.

    Does Lost Island Waterpark offer birthday packages?

    Yes, Lost Island offers catered birthday party packages. Reserve your birthday party online or call to speak with a Guest Services representative at (319) 455-6702.

  • How can I pay for admission, food, and souvenirs? Is there an ATM?

    Lost Island accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards at all registers. Admission tickets, Season Passes, and Gift Cards are also available for purchase online. The nearest ATM is located at Bamboo Ridge located across LaPorte Road. Corporate or organization checks are accepted at the front gate only for advanced, confirmed reservations.

    What if I forget something at home?

    If you forget something at home, please check Trader Jim's located near the entrance. Our souvenir shop includes Lost Island merchandise along with beach towels, swim diapers, sunscreen, swim suits, and more!

  • What food is available for purchase at the Waterpark?

    Lost Island Waterpark has a variety of food options available within the waterpark. Checkout all of our cafe locations on our Food & Drink page

    Can I bring in my own food and drinks? 

    Please keep glass and outside food & beverages from entering the park for allergy and safety reasons. Guests may bring in an empty personal water bottle and fill it at our bottle filling stations. 

    I have dietary restrictions.

  • Are there height requirements for any of the rides?

    Yes. Most of our attractions have a height requirement. These requirements can be found on the Slides & Attractions and Safety & Rules pages of our website. The requirements are also located on signs, at the entrance of each ride. 

    Is your park handicap accessible?

    Yes! Please call us at (319) 455-6702 for information regarding accessibility and accommodations. We will share which rides and attractions are appropriate for your abilities and will help you make the most of your visit. More accessibility details available here

    Do you have life jackets available?

    Free life jackets are available for use and are located on the west side of the Bathhouse, next to Tsunami Bay. Life jackets brought into the park must be coast guard approved. All lifejackets are allowed on rides. 

    Where are the best places to go with a toddler?

    Lost Island is fun for all ages! Check out Star Fish Cove, Tahiti Village, and Blue Iguana Lagoon for Kids. And always be on the lookout for Maizie the Mermaid

    Do you have changing facilities?

    The Bathhouse located next to the entrance provides changing and showering facilities. A family bathroom is also available. 

    Is there a private space available to nurse a child?

    Guests may stop in Guest Services, located at the front entrance, to speak with a crew member to find a private space. 

    Is there shaded seating available?

    There are shaded areas located throughout the park. Lounge chairs are available on a first come, first serve basis. For guaranteed shade, reserve a private shade shell, cabana, or villa for the day. Lost Island recommends wearing sunscreen, whether in the shade or direct sun.

  • Do you have overnight accomodations?

  • Safety is a shared responsibility

    Lost Island offers a variety of water-based activities for all ages and all swim levels. Height restrictions are posted for all attractions. 
    Only you know yours, your child's, or anyone you are supervising's level of swimming skills. We strongly recommend all Guests under 48" or who are non-swimmers wear Coast Guard approved lifejackets where appropriate. 

    What if my party gets separated?

    Please designate a specific meeting spot and/or check-in times for your group. The PA system is for park announcements and medical emergencies only. If a Guest cannot locate their child, one of our staff would be happy to help search for them.

    Where is the First Aid station located?

    The Lost Island First Aid Station is located next to Tsunami Bay Wavepool. For any assistance in the park, speak with a crew member in a blue polo. 

    What about my eye glasses?

    Eye glasses may be worn on some attractions like the Wave Pool or the Lazy River. However, any ride where there is acceleration or deceleration, we require Guests to remove glasses for their safety.

    What about my valuables?

    All-day lockers are available on a first-come, first serve basis. There are two sizes to choose from, Small $5 or Large $9. Upgrade and add power with a USB plug-in for $2 more. 

    Can I bring my pet?

    The Lost Island family consists of several fur friends. However, for the safety of your pet and other guests we ask that you leave your pet at home. With the exception of service animals for Guests with disabilities, pets are not permitted at Lost Island. Guests with special needs can call us for more information at (319) 455-6702.

    Does Lost Island check bags prior to entry?

    All bags are subjection to inspection prior to entry. Guests who have items that are not allowed inside Lost Island, which includes but is not limited to weapons, alcohol, outside food and beverage, coolers, glass, may either discard them at the entrance or return them to their vehicles. Any guest refusing a bag inspection will not be permitted into Lost Island.

    Do you allow smoking  or vaping in the park?

    Lost Island is a non-smoking facility. We ask guests to exit the park and walk across the entry bridge to smoke or vape. 

  • All lost items found at Lost Island are taken and stored at Guest Services, located at the front entrance. Items found in the park will be stored in lost and found for one week. Damp, wet, or perishable items will be discarded at the end of each day. 
    Call or stop at Guest Services during operational hours to check for your lost items.

  • Lost Island is proud to support the Cedar Valley and surrounding areas. All donation requests must be submitted online, October through April. Complete our Charitable Gift Application to be considered for a donation.
